Conflict Minerals Declaration

"conflict minerals" is defined as columbite-tantalite, also known as coltan (from which tantalum is derived); cassiterite (tin); gold; wolframite (tungsten); or their derivatives; or any other mineral or its derivatives determined by the Secretary of State to be financing conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or an adjoining country.


Wing Hing hereby certifies that for all products sold to our customers as defined in the Final Rule pursuant to Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010.

We have requested and received verifiable information from throughout our supply chain to support this certification. This information includes documentation such as bills of material and material disclosures for these products and/or their components.

 

We would like to confirm metals used in Products sold out are DRC Conflict-Free” 

Wing Hing Buttons And Buckles Limited is taking and will take due diligence to assure “DRC Conflict-Free” for our metals supplied are not derived from or sourced from mines in conflict areas of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), or illegally taxed on trade routes, either of which are controlled by non-governmental military groups, or unlawful military factions. Trade routes not confirmed to be “Conflict Free” include direct exports from the DRC, as well as exports through Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi, Tanzania and Kenya (countries of whom the U.N. Security Council note are global export routes for DRC-mined minerals).
